In many countries the real estate industry offers an opportunity for anyone who is hard-working and ambitious to make a good income. South Africa has been no exception, yet the number of registered Property Practitioners is on the decline.

The number of people who are involved in the real estate industry is often a good indicator of the health of a countries economy. South Africa included, but over the last decade, despite calls for transformation, the number of estate agents and estate agencies has declined quite dramatically.

The average age of most Property Professionals working in the industry are over 60.

HPA is an Employers Organization registered with the department of Social Development to finally give Property Practitioners a voice that for far too long has been non existent

HPA is here to change that once and for all, we are ready to support and defend your rights as a Property Practitioner.

WHY HAS HPA BEEN ESTABLISHED?

HPA was founded with the aim of providing Property Practitioners in South Africa with a unified platform to express their collective opinions and concerns. Our primary objective is to bring together a fragmented industry that has long been vulnerable to exploitation by unscrupulous individuals and institutions. While we acknowledge that not all entities fall into this category, we commend those who adhere to ethical practices. The people and institutions that take advantage of Property Practitioners are aware that they lack the resources to fight back, given their limited financial means and irregular income. However, HPA is committed to changing this by providing support and legal representation to its members.

Virtual consultations also help to eliminate emotional pressures and intimidation, as parties do not need to be physically present in the same room to be heard.

TRAINING COMPLIANCE

  • Hybrid Practitioners Association of South Africa is dedicated to  supporting your personal and professional growth by helping you overcome obstacles and create a successful sales environment that aligns with your dreams.

  • As a member, you will have access to free NQF4 facilitator-led training, which serves as an entry-level program for passionate interns and candidates seeking to break into the industry. Additionally, highly skilled facilitators, assessors, and moderators are available by appointment to guide you through your training journey.

  • While basic self-defence classes are available, they are not mandatory. However, we believe that our members face risks in their daily activities and should know how to identify threatening situations and overcome them without endangering their lives. Basic first-aid classes are also available, but not mandatory.

  • As a property practitioner, you may find yourself in a situation where you are the first responder during a medical emergency involving a buyer, seller, or colleague. These skills could be advantageous in the future.
